That's a line from one of my favorite albums of all time - Jimmy Eat World's Futures. I do love November, and I am quite excited to see it again this year. October certainly wasn't bad at all, but we can always hope for better months right?
October was good, but BUSY.
I was looking at my calendar the other day and just couldn't believe it. Here it was quantitatively:
5 baby showers (helped host 3)
4 ESL classes taught
3 birthday parties (hosted 1)
2 trips to the zoo
4 small groups (hosted 1 world series watch party)
1 family photo shoot
2 weekends hosting out-of-town guests
3 meals hosting friends and family
6 meals out with friends and family
1 dinner/play at the Alley Theatre
7 world series games
1 trip to the pumpkin patch
1 men's retreat attended by Cason
1 service project
4 Baylor games watched
4 Pinterest projects completed
2 Halloween events
Other activities...
EQUALS OCTOBER
Mercy.
Goals for November? Slow down, be productive and purposeful with time, finish Christmas shopping? Overambitious?
And above all, be thankful.
